Sunday School today focused on being Born Again. We studied from John 3. We read the famous end zone scriptures:
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
– John 3:3
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
– John 3:16
And we also read an intetesting one from Alma in the Book of Mormon
I say unto you, ye will know at that day that ye cannot be saved; for there can no man be saved except his garments are washed white; yea, his garments must be purified until they are cleansed from all stain, through the blood of him of whom it has been spoken by our fathers, who should come to redeem his people from their sins.
– Alma 5:21
One word in that scripture jumped out to me:
Until they are cleansed from all stain.
Until is not small.
Until is not fast.
Until is not fleeting.
Until is not weak.
Until is powerful, true, faithful and enduring. Until changes a stream to a Grand Canyon.
