Business Week posted some interesting statistics on Cell Phone usage:

For most older Americans, a cellular phone is just a phone. But for the younger generation, well, a cell phone is so much more than just for making voice calls.

In a survey of 2,365 adults, only 19% of the people 55 and over say they use the calendar and address book features on their phones. And 15% say they download ringtones. That compares to 56% of people between the ages of 18 and 34 who rely on the calendar and address functions. And 47% of people in that age bracket download ringtones.

Also among the survey’s findings: Men are more likely to use the extra features on a cell phone than women, and people with a college education are more likely to use additional features than those without a college degree.
